When cancellation is the right step
Cancellation is the right step when you are sure you no longer need the gentle assistance you originally asked for. The most common reasons are a fully cancelled trip, a change of plans that no longer involves Europe, or simply a decision to use a different service.
If your trip has only been delayed or moved, then a small correction is almost always the kinder path. Cancelling and starting again later is more disruptive than gently updating the dates on your existing request.
How to cancel
Cancellations are handled from your account, or by writing to our team. Either way, please include your reference number so we can find your file quickly. A short reason helps our team understand whether cancellation is genuinely the right step rather than a misdirected correction.
We will reply by email confirming we have received your cancellation, the next step we are taking, and any timing details you should know. Until you have that confirmation in writing, your request is still active.
What cancellation does — and does not do
Cancelling closes your request with us. We will gently stop any further review and archive your file in line with our privacy promise.
Cancellation does not undo anything that has begun on the official side, which is outside the gentle assistance we provide. We are a private travel assistance team and not the government — only the official authorities can act on processes they themselves have started.
Refund eligibility, gently explained
Whether a refund is possible depends on where your request is in our quiet review at the moment we receive your cancellation. The closer to completion the work is, the less likely a refund applies, since the human work has already been done.

Your privacy after cancellation
After cancellation, the personal details attached to your request are kept only for the period required to handle any follow-up support, refund, or compliance question. We do not repurpose cancelled records for marketing, and we never share your information with anyone unrelated.
If you change your mind
If you cancel and later decide you would like our gentle assistance after all, please don't worry — you are very welcome to begin a brand new request. We will not penalise you for changing your mind, and your new request will be treated as a fresh, independent file.
